As well as providing over 90 different council services like all our CSCs, a range of facilities are available at the Outer West Customer Service Centre, Pool and Library. They include:
- Community room available for community meetings or use by charitable or voluntary organisations. You can book the room by calling (0191) 277 7962
- Information and advice from external agencies including Your Homes Newcastle, A4e Pensions Service, Child Contact Centres, Moneywise (Credit Union) and Job Centre Plus
- Photocopying services at the library
- Local information and a community notice board
- Local travel and transport information
- i+ Kiosk where you can access a range of council and other public services information. The kiosk stands on the shopping centre side of the CSC building so you can use it when the centre is closed
- Paypoint
As with all our CSCs local people were consulted throughout the development of the centre through a Community Focus Group. As well as this a series of four community newsletters were produced in 2003 and 2004.

Travelling Northboundfrom the A1
- Keep left onto ramp towards B6324 / city (West) / Westerhope
- At roundabout, take the 1st exit onto B6324 (Stamfordham Road)
- At roundabout, take the 1st exit onto West Denton Way
- At roundabout, take the 2nd exit to remain on West Denton Way
- Pass Denton Park Shopping Centre entrance on the right
- At the end of Shopping Centre, turn right (in front of Denton Park House flats)
- Turn right into Outer West CSC, Pool and Library car park
Travelling Southbound from the A1
- Keep left onto ramp towards B6324 / City (west) / Westerhope
- At roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B6324 (Stamfordham road)
- At roundabout, take the 1st exit onto West Denton Way
- At roundabout, take the 2nd exit to remain on West Denton Way
- Pass Denton Park Shopping Centre entrance on the right
- At the end of Shopping Centre, turn right (in front of Denton Park House flats)
- Turn right into Outer West CSC, Pool and Library car park
