
At our Customer Service Centres (CSC) you can get access to a range of services and information from council and other public services all under one roof. Our centres have won a number of high profile awards and were recently awarded the prestigious Customer Service Excellence for their excellent service and commitment to meeting your needs.
By working with partner agencies like the NHS and Your Homes Newcastle we can provide you with easy to use, joined up services based in your community. - Make council tax enquiries
- Pay your council bills by cash, cheque, card or postal order
- Enquire about council tax and housing benefits
- Make environmental enquiries about bin collections, bulky rubbish collections, litter and street cleaning, street lighting, pest control, grass cutting and trees
- You can apply for new and replacement blue badges, which can be issued on the spot if you bring your documentation with you.
- Find out about and apply for free school meals, home to school travel, educational maintenance awards, higher education student support and student loans

All our centres aim to be easily accessible to customers with facilities for people with impaired hearing, audio and visual queuing systems, PCs with free internet access for customer use, private interview rooms, comfortable waiting areas, access to a language interpretation service, childrens play equipment and freephones to other council departments.

As well as this we work to engage the local community throughout the development of all our new centres by setting up Community Focus Groups.
