Neighbours was inspired by Holocaust Memorial Day and by the everyday experience of newly arriving refugee communities into the City.

Neighbours attempted to ask people in the City questions about community, what makes people feel at home, safe or insecure, what makes a good neighbour. Through video animation Neighbours tried to examine what we do and do not like about out neighbourhoods and what aspects of community life should we embrace and celebrate.

The Arts Team continue to developed this theme based work ensuring that  many of the Teams projects including Youth Theatre and community festival work shares in an ambition to explore these complex and difficult issues.  Live Theatre, ISIS Arts, freelance artists and many community support workers have all made important contributions.
