If we arrange social care services for you we will ask you about your financial circumstances. We may ask you to pay towards your care services. Your social worker will explain more about our charges when they talk to you about your assessment and support plan. They can also arrange for you to talk to a welfare rights officer about any benefits you may be entitled to. For more information about where to get independent benefits advice in Newcastle see our useful contacts.
If you arrange and pay for your own services there is other information available to help you.
