The Newcastle Fund is a grant aid fund of just over £10m available to Newcastle’s voluntary and community sector.
In December 2011 we announced which organisations would benefit from the second round of the Newcastle Fund. View or download the details of the successful applicants (pdf, 27Kb)
The Council has committed to a high level of openness in its grant process, and – following discussions with the voluntary and community sector – agreed to publish a full list of applications. Details can be found here (pdf, 40.25Kb)
The Newcastle Fund is an important part of the council’s relationship between the council and the voluntary and community sector (VCS). It helps clarify the difference between commissioned services and grant aid.
The second round of the Newcastle Fund was launched on 1 September 2011. Find out more on our Funding Fayre webpage.
