Newcastle is a popular destination for LGBT people with a range of services and leisure facilities available. However, unlike some cities it does not have an LGBT community centre.

A steering group has been established to investigate whether the provision of LGBT services would be improved with the addition of a dedicated LGBT Centre. It is proposed that any future Centre should be a positive environment for people to access information, socialise and to promote the diversity of our community.

The steering group is now consulting with the community and would like to reach as wide an audience as possible.
